2. Information We Collect
Snagsta automatically collects general information when you visit our website to enable us to provide a better service. This includes information such as browser type, IP address, pages accessed and length of visit.
When you register as a member of Snagsta we collect personal profile information, including email address. It is entirely up to you whether or not you choose to share this information with us, but should you choose not to you will not be to access much of the content and functionality offered by Snagsta.
When you use Snagsta as a registered member, we collect information on the actions you take on the Snagsta website, including lists added and lists you snag. When you post content to Snagsta, it is up to you whether or not you wish to make it public. Please note that when you choose to post information to Snagsta and make it public, Snagsta has no control over who views this information. You are advised to make nothing public that could put your security at risk. When you remove content that you have posted to Snagsta and made public, you should be aware that other users may have saved, stored or cached this information, and that it may still be available to them.
If you choose to use the invite a friend function, we will collect information about your friend such as name and email address. We will send one email only to this friend, but we may retain the information in our database to check whether friends accept the invitation. If your friend would like us to delete this information they can contact us.
By using Snagsta, you agree that your data maybe transferred to and stored in the United States of America as well as the EU and is subject to the Safe Harbor Agreement.
4. Children Below the Age of 13
Snagsta is not intended for use by children below the age of 13 and does not solicit their personal information. If you believe that a child below the age of 13 of whom you are the parent or legal guardian has registered for the Snagsta service, please contact us.
5. Children Between the Ages of 13 and 18
Snagsta requires that children between the ages of 13 and 18 to obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before registering with Snagsta. If you believe that a child between the ages of 13 and 18 of whom you are the parent or legal guardian has registered for the Snagsta service without your consent, please contact us.
6. How We Use the Information We Collect
When you register you create your own account and profile and it is up to you what information you share with this. Information is used to store, edit and share your profile and lists. Information you choose to make public, e.g. lists, will be made available to other users of Snagsta. Information and lists you enter, including those you do not make public, will be compiled to allow us to conduct profile matching and make recommendations to other users when they search for specific terms, however the actual content you post will at no time by displayed or made public unless you have given permission; private content will always remain private.
If you have given us permission to do so, we may occasionally send you emails about new services on Snagsta.
7. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties
Information you choose to make public, for example your lists, will be freely available to other users of Snagsta. Any information you choose to share in this way is at your own risk.
Snagsta will not share your personal information with third-party marketers without your permission. We will only share your information with third-parties under the following circumstances:
- With other Snagsta members that you have added to your network of friends;
- In response to legal requests such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. We will only do this when we have a good faith belief that this is necessary;
- To prevent the use of Snagsta for fraud or other illegal activities;
- If the ownership or a substantial portion of the ownership of Snagsta or any subsidiary business units changes.
- We hate Spam as much as you do, and will not sell, rent or otherwise distribute your personal information, except under the circumstances listed above.

Snagsta contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the Privacy Policies of these websites.

You can change or remove any of the information you have submitted to Snagsta by logging in to your account. Changes will be updated immediately, however if any of your public lists have been snagged by other users, some or all of the information they contain may remain publicly accessible. You may also deactivate your account. Removed information may remain in back-up copies for a reasonable period of time.

Snagsta will take appropriate steps to protect the personal information you share with us. We have implemented technology and security features in line with reasonable industry standard practices to safeguard the privacy of your personal identifiable information.
Please do not share any of your personal information, such as passwords, with anyone. Snagsta cannot be held responsible or liable in any manner for lapses in security caused by third-party accesses to your personal information supplied to us as a result of your failure to keep your personal information private.
No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and as such you agree that all disclosure of your personal information to Snagsta is at your own risk, and Snagsta shall not be responsible or liable in any manner to you or any third party for any loss, injury, damage, expenses, demands, claims, actions and/or proceedings incurred, suffered or sustained as a consequence thereof.
